My Chances? (Highly Confused)

hi all,

i am very confused and need your advice here

i applied for CES start of Aug. my result is still not out. my category 2172 (Database analysts)

till when do you think i have a chance. say for example, if i receive my result in first week of December and i apply in second week of December - will i still have a chance?

if not, till which week of nov/dec should i be ok to apply?

appreciate as many responses as possible...

It's really impossible for any of us to answer your question for certain. You should be fine to apply the second week of December. But again - impossible to say for sure.

I am not sure why CES is taking so long . was there any particular reason you sent your documents to CES rather than WES. i sent my documents to WES a week back. they have acknowledged the receipt and i am expecting the report from them in 2 weeks. because WES says that it takes 20 days after the docs are received but thats generally the maximum duration as far as i can gather from what people have posted here.

Yes CES awful. You might got your WES report before time.

You should be Ok. But we cannot guarantee as one hot NOC is almost full 2174 and people who applied for this NOC, may try to fill 2172 [or might be they already have started].

If it's possible for you and you are very much ready to go to Canada, prepare your documents for WES and apply.

1 more thing is : Sending application in December is quiet risky. I must say avoid sending any application after 9th December because of Christmas Holidays+Weather.

You have time at the moment, relax and plan the things.

Two options you have excluding what I have written above.

1- Go with the flow - Prepare your complete application and as soon as the CES report comes, apply for FSW. No loss as they will dispatch your fee back if CAP is full.

2- If you have really good job and education and you feel you are ready for Express Entry 2015 > then gather your documents for that and apply in 1st half of January for Express Entry 2015.

that's true - they keep on increasing the processing time. from 8 weeks its now 15 weeks!!!
