Hi all,

I just got today my CBSA travel record. (Just on time before my JH next Monday).

It does show all the entry dates to Canada. all the dates are good and confirms what I reported in my citizinship application. However, it does not show my landing date. I called the CBSA, they told me that they do detailed search and they dont miss such details. They told me if the details is not in the system, then it is because the officer at the port of entry did not enter it.

I just want to know what do you think of this ??

At the end I got my IMM 5292 which is a proof of my landing date.

if you have a stamp on the passport and/or COPR with you, you needn't worry. they check the frequency of travel and countries you have visited (from calculator and passport) more than actual dates. even i had certain dates missing.

Thanks .. I'm not worried about it. However, I was wondering if what I have in the report normal and if anybody got the same issue in his or her CBSA Report.

I have my CBSA report too - received recently - and it shows all dates EXCEPT landing date.

You're good. We're in the same boat.

That's fine. I have the same thing on my CBSA report: two of my entries were not on the report. When I saw it, I contacted the CBSA for clarifications and whether it could be fixed (with documents proving my entries). Here is the answer I got:

"I am assuming you traveled by car on those two specific dates. The Border Officers do not necessarily scan the passport into the system when traveling by car as the entry is generally captured by vehicle (license plate number).

You have two options:

1. If you traveled by vehicle to and from the United States and require a report of your land border crossings, please submit a NEW request and provide proof of registration to the vehicle(s) and the license plate number(s). Should the vehicle(s) belong to someone else, we require consent from the owner to allow CBSA to release their Highway Passage report to you. To be valid, a consent letter must be signed, dated, and indicate to whom authority is given with the printed name of the individual giving consent.

2. Submit a NEW request with the documents you attached as proof requesting that a "correction" be made to your travel history and the entries be added to your file."

it is so annoying that they dont show all your entry dates, even if its a day trip to the USA

Dear All,

I tried to use the link provided by "parlvu" to get a report for my self as I am applying to Citizenship. It consist of four steps. I filled the first step where it require a general Information and data about the person requesting ATIP report, then once you finish and press continue, it took you to next step, "Act and record selection.

Here I am confused, It asks "Please select the act under which you are submitting the request" 1. Access to information act 2. Privacy Act ?? which one I should select? I guess Access to Information act. right?

Then it asks, " which type of records do you wish to request"? 1. Case file 2. Corporate records. So which one to select?
