my canadian girlfriend is pregnant?

ok i applied for pr in june of 2005 and it will not be long before i know, thing is we just found out that my girlfriend who is a canadian citizen is 6 weeks pregnant, does this mean anything to my application and will it mean that because my kid will be a canadian citizen it will help me? thank you for your reply in advance and happy easter to everyone

if your girlfriend is in canada and gives birth in canada yes, will be canadian citizen, as for you will continue to wait for the pr to go through but once baby is born you should declare/inform canadian immigration.

yes my girlfriend is in Canada and so am i , i have been here for the past 3 years on a valid work permit.
do you think i should inform the consulate of these new developments?

Hi there

Do you really want to have your process done ASAP?... get married, you have now one of the biggest reasons in the world to be part of a family, so hopefully when your son or daugther or both... arrive at this world he\she or them... find a daddy already at home, of course in Canada.

I mean, it is a good opportunity that God is giving to you... a chance to be blessed on tripple ways... Daddy, husband and Canadian Resident

New developments to cic will not change anything or improve your status. Getting married will be an option or if you could proof you have lived together for more than a year ou could apply for for her to sponsor you. This will mean that you have lived together and its a proof of a relationship.
