Read the original post that you replied to and then see the context. It was about someone applying for PR and their sibling never showed them in the family info. In that case, no they won't be impacted. But, if you did this(you never listed someone in your study visa and now you are applying for PR), it could be interpreted as a misrepresentation - no one can tell whether an officer would consider this as misrepresentation or not.
