My STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
I am Jay Bharatkumar Pandya. I have completed my Higher Secondary Education with 70.8% from D.Z Patel High School, Anand in March 2020. I scored 50/50 in computer practical exam in grade 12. In my holidays I explored different technical fields by auditing different courses on Coursera. I got certified by IBM for completing three certificates related to Data Science. On top of that, I got a certificate of compilation from freecodecamp.org of Responsive Web design. To get practical exposure and International education. I have a desire to take a step in programming as well as in database management with a strong academic career. Therefore, I decided to gain specialization in the field of software by pursuing the Software Engineering Technology Program offered by Centennial College, Canada.
This Software Engineering Technology program will provide me with the worth of learning in designing, developing and maintaining software systems. It includes modern programming languages, design and algorithm concepts, data management tools and modern software engineering methodologies and critical thinking. The program will also expose me to a solid knowledge of systems integration, enterprise programming, mobile computing, Web design and software security specialization. I will have practical subjects focusing specifically on hands-on training delivered in most advanced speciality labs at college. I will learn the introduction of essential subjects for programming such as C#, Java, Java EE, Oracle, MS-SQL Server, UNIX/Linux, Python, Microsoft's ASP.NET Core, HTML5/JavaScript/Angular, mobile application development, emerging web frameworks, cloud computing, data mining and more. Mathematics and statistics are also part of my course which is really helpful in data science with python language.
Being a graduate, I will have an ample number of career opportunities as Software Developer, Web application developer, Computer programmer, Business analyst, Database administrator and so on. In order to prove my intension of studying in Canada, I have paid my college fees amounting 17543 CAD and purchased GIC worth 10000 CAD. Apart from this, I have an extra fund of 2900000 INR to support my study and stay while in Canada.
