My Application is cancelled because it is considered incomplete

Hi,

I applied for express entry scheme in Dec 2018 and got an invitation to apply for Permanent Residency in Feb 2019. I submitted all my documents including experience letters, banks statements, police certificates of all the places where I have lived and worked including UAE, UK and Australia. On 16 April 2019, I received a letter on myCIC account stating that my application has been cancelled as incomplete. Reason stated is that I did not attached my UAE police certificate. I recheck my application and found that I accidently scanned the same police certificate document with two different names. It is a simple clerical error from my part that has led to my application getting refused.

My question is: Is there a way I could appeal my case. If so, how do I go about doing it? My points are 448 and I got the invite because round was set to 440 in Feb 2019. I am afraid that as time passes the points will get higher and I might not be able to satisfy these anymore.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Applications marked incomplete can’t be appealed. U need to make a new profile and based wait for your turn to come

Unfortunately you dropped the ball and the cancellation is not an error from IRCC. There is no point in appealing.

Sorry to hear that.

Look at the bright side, your total point is quite high and you just need to wait a few draws before receiving ITA. In addition, the completion check is done so early that gives you chances for upcoming draws. Imagine if you had to wait a month and a half to get notified of this? It's cruel.

I'm sorry to hear that but your score is pretty high and you will get a second invitation very soon. My question is could you please clarify the issue? I mean did upload a different POC than UAE one?
