Mutual Fund Statement can be shown as Proof of Fund for both Principle and dependent applicant ????

no. Share values are flexible and this may not be considered.
However, i showed this as additional amount once i showed the required amount as savings and FD.

The above response is correct. No hard assets, which do not have a definitive value as considered as proof of funds, like property, mutual funds, gold, etc. On the other hand, provident fund statement can be included
