I disagree. My friend's mother's visitor was approved after mentioned that she would accompany her Canadian citizen grandson (who is still a minor) to Canada to be reunite with his parents in Canada. At the airport, she was given a 6 months stay in Canada.

I guess visitors taking care of child temporary is not illegal.

Hi, steaky! How long of stay in Canada did your friend's mother indicate in her application? I will also accompany my 18 month old daughter to Canada, her permanent resident visa will going to expire in May this year. So she has to be in Canada before it expires. And also i want to reunite with her father. I indicate four months of stay in my application, i also stated that i plan to stay until my daughter's 2nd birthday which is on the 5th of September. Do you think its ok?

Hello, I am Canadian citizen and want to invite my two sisters on visitor visa. Should they apply individually on my invitation letter? I am confused that can I invite both of them on same time? One is retired and 2nd one is in government job. I want to know chances for approval and procedure that how should they apply individually or together?

A parent saying he/she is coming to take care of a grandchild while on a visit might be accepted but that won’t be accepted if a sister says so. It means she intends working as a visitor which is illegal

Neither are acceptable
Illegal work is illegal work regardless of the age of the person
