Multiple Visa entry

Hi there,
I need to ask one question. My parents recently came on a visit to Canada. They have a multiple entry visit visa until 2015. When they came two years back on single entry visas, the visa officer mentioned their date of return on the passport when they came here.
But this time the entry stamp is different. there is no date of return mentioned in the stamp. the stamp says 41313 LBPIA on it, I don't know how long can they stay now.
If anyone can help I would be really grateful. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply scylla, but there is no date mentioned on the entry. Are you sure about it?
and secondly if its six months can I apply for its extension and how?
Thanks

If no date was stamped in their passport then they have been given a six month visit by default.

As with everything else, information on how to extend their stay is available on the CIC web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp
