1. If in my previous company i had two positions ,Do i need to take multiple reference letter or one describing both?
2. In my current company, my supervisor is about to change by this month and he was my boss for almost four years.Should i take the ref letter from him till this month? In that case for additional upcoming period i will require another ref letter describing the same position from my new supervisor.

A: Try to take one from the HR if possible that is for all your roles and responsibilities within your company. Take from the Manager only if HR is not issuing one.

I think detailed reference letter would depend on the noc code u are going to choose. If it is different, multiple ref letters are advised for duties with clear segregation or in one letter segregation can also be done.

And to answer your 2nd question, your letter should be independent of any supervisor if it is being issued by hr. And additionally that can signed by dept head too as per org policy and process.
