Multiple Express Entry Account - Misrepresentation

A friend of mine just got 5 years ban due to having multiple accounts. Did anyone have the same? Based on the information available here, It seems to be fine. But, obviously It is not.

You can only have one EE profile. @schilz means that it is not OK/fine to have more than one.

U can have more than one account registered. But you can only submit one EE profile under ur name.
