Multiple Entry VISA + Study Permit "This does not authorize Re-Entry"

Hello;

I am currently on a student visa (multiple entry) and I was giving a Study permit that reads: "This does not authorize Re-Entry"

Does that mean if I leave the country I can't comeback before applying for a VISA again?

study permit and study visa r two separate documents. visa lets u enter canada and permit lets u stay legally in canada. u cannot enter canada using study permit unless u have a valid visa. so check ur passport and see if ur visa is valid or not..if u visa is valid u can enter canada does not matter what is written on study permit. r u getting the point

i dont understand .....ur presently in canada right? ru asking what documents u would need to get back from ur home country once u leave canada? if yes then it will depend on how long u stay in ur home country without enrolling in an institute. What I am trying to say is u will need to take a leave of absence if ur missing a sem. if ur going for summer vacation then u need TRV, study permit , a valid passport. Also would be good to carry all the relevant documents that u used for ur study permit application.

I going to apply for one year diploma in toronto .. so i wanted to know that will i get a multiple entry visa or single entry visa??

also is this in our hands to apply for multiple oe single visa ...or its the authority of visa officer ?

if single entry visa... then in case of some emergencies can i fly back ... and without any effect on my studies ??

Same case with i have been in canada for almost 4 months now with visitor visa and applied for Student permit inside canada of two years Post graduate program..If my student permit will granted should i stay in canada for two years legally without applying for visit visa extension?. Please help

Have you tried to leave Canada and went back without any problem? Please help, I need your answer as I am about to leave the country for a while. Im not even sure if I have to show some documents as a proof to the officer at the border once I come back to Canada from my home country.

To enter Canada you need both a valid TRV and a valid study permit.
If you abandon your studies and leave then your study permit might become invalid.
While in Canada you dont need a valid TRV it is only for getting into the country.
