Multiple entry visa please help!!!!

Hello...
Ok here is the thing i sponserd my father from ethiopia on supervisa and he just got his visa but on hia pasport it says muliple entry catagory PG-1 issude date 2016 expires 2019...what i dont understand is i thought super visa was giving for 10 yrs..with max stay for 2 yrs so why did they give him only for 3 years? Is means after 3 yrs he cant come back to canada please help

Oh forgot t say on his paspor it says vistor.?not super visa why? I applyed for super visa

The validity of the visa.... whether TRV or super visa.... single/multiple entry visa.... depends on the assessment made by the visa officer who assessed your dad's visa application

BTW PG-1 is a super visa i.e. PG (Parent/Grandparent).... it is not a TRV

What is the validity of his passport . That would also be a factor
