Hi Friends

where do you mention that I am requesting for Multiple Entry Visa? Is it on Invitation letter?
You can't. CIC will evaluate your case and give you a Multiple or Single based on your eligibility.

You can request for a multiple entry TRV in the Invitation Letter + their individual Covering Letters

As Jalex23 has mentioned, the visa officer will assess their situation and give either single/multiple entry visas

Thanks - understood. Are you suggested that I should have individual covering letters. As the main applicant is my Father iL, I have added only one Covering letter..

Please take a look and review..

This is a potential red flag as I have mentioned to you in a post on another thread.

Please do not use words like "stay".... this is not what a visitor is supposed to do.... a visitor VISITS.... a visitor does not STAY.... it's a seemingly innocuous word but it could have negative repercussions in a visa context.

And also, do reword the ".... stay with with my daughter and son in-law in Canada for some time."..... as this would mean an open ended visit.... without a confirmed return date.

What ties to India will your mother-in-law demonstrate?

The visa officer will be the one who will decide if he/she will give you a single entry or multiple visa. I applied my visitor visa last 2014 and I just applied for a single entry. But the Canadian Embassy gave me a multiple visa entry.

This is definitely a "intelligent" suggestion. Let me review my letter and make few changes. I understand your point completely. The application should "in no way" give a picture that they could permanently stay or overstay.

My mother IL has investment in share and she receives dividend warrant on her name.
