Multi entry visas

Hi there

My fiance is Zambian and we are getting married here in Canada in January and then moving back to Zambia. I'm wondering if there is a multi entry visa he can apply for to be able to come back and visit when I visit home. I'm more worried about emergency reasons for needing to go home and for my family being split up because it takes a long time to get him a visitor's visa.
Is this a thing? A possibility?

There are multiple entry trv’s, but is entirely at IRCC discretion whether they provide one or not. Usually it will depend on the strength of the applicants ties to their home country, finances and travel history to other visa required countries. As you are getting married, expect it will be difficult for your husband to get a TRV once you are married.

Okay! So we just apply for it the same as we did his visa this time?
The government knows we are getting married. We were totally honest in all our paperwork and he was approved the first try. Our lives are in Zambia but my parents are here in Canada so it would be nice to be able to visit freely!
