MSP for infant child coming with student parent

Hello,

The situation is:

• Father applying for student visa to study in BC
• Mother applying for open work permit
• 4 months old daughter coming with them

I know the father will pay CAD 75.00 a month for MSP and the mother is entitled for free MSP. I was wondering if the infant daughter would also be eligible for MSP when they arrive (regardless of the 3 months they'd have to wait to get coverage after landing)

Yes they will all qualify and will pay based on family size and income. They must be approved first of course.

They won't pay anything. MSP premiums were eliminated Jan 1, 2020.
