MSP 3 months continuous payment after uploading PGWP and changing status?

Hello,

I called MSP in BC and was told that I have to pay for 90 more days even though I graduated 4 months ago and applied, received, and uploaded my Post Graduate Work Permit to my MSP account. The person on the phone insisted that I need to pay for 3 more months even after they change my status to work permit holder. I asked whether she can please point me to a website where it states that and she just got angry and started to stutter "its BC law nothing you can do, bla, bla". I let her finish and then stated that this is not the question I asked, I asked where I can find such information. She refused again to state any source.

So, anyone know this is true and where I can find such information? I am NOT talking about the initial 3 months wait period to enroll in MSP for the first time but changing status from study permit to work permit holder. On the MSP website it states that only students need to pay for MSP not work permit holders.

Help please...

That is what I stated I read but the lady on the phone got rude when I asked her to please point me to evidence that 3 additional months have to be paid.

It states that if you'v got your PGWP, you just need to contact MSP to update your status and adjust the fee. I don't see any mentioning of additional waiting period of 3 months. (as long as you have kept your MSP valid all the time)

Well, call again and hopefully, you get a better person to look at your account.

Hi everybody, could you share your experience with BC MSP? How did you cancel the fee payment?

I have completed my program in August 2022, received the letter of completion in September, and applied for PGWP on 1 September.

however I still receive the invoice from BC MSP which says that I have to pay 75cad again and again.

Does it mean that now I have to wait approximate 5 months until I will have received PGWP in irder to cancel these fees?
How long did you pay after graduation? Nowadays it is so long to wait PGWP to be approved.
