I had mentioned in the letter sent to Nova Scotia that I have Cad$ 600000 to be carried to Canada which is actually the value of the property I own / will inherit.Probably a mistake I have done. though I had clearly mentioned that it is the value of the property I own/will inherit.

what amount of funds should I mention in the column "funds" of economic class form.
should the amount be that I have to carry for a family of five (about 23000cad $) or the total value of the assets I have.

seeking urgent advice please as i have to submit the completed application during the coming week.

you will have to put in any amount equal to or greater than that mentioned for your family size ($23k) in your case.

The CIC, NS office will not care about what you have mentioned for source of proofs as long as the amount is => 23000. So, you will get past that stage.

During final submission, correct the amount in the field and write an explanation speaking truth. You will then need to provide proof of liquid funds of amount 23000 or more. In case of S'pore or London office you will also need to make your net asset statement in which you would need to show these funds as liquid and provide proofs for the same.

YOu have to show at least 23000 but you can show more.
Since you don't own your property that you will inherit in the future, 600000 would be wrong.
I would say put down either what you own now with at least 23000 (if this is accurate) in the form when you send to the visa office later.

What do others think? Remember i am no expert.
