Mr. Qorax, Pls help regarding funds to taken along when landing for first time

Dear Mr. Qorax, need some clarification regarding POF to be carried when landing in Canada for first time. As I am going alone and my family will not be accompanying me as they will be sponsored under family class, do I need to carry POF for a family of 4 or just for 1 person. When I recd medicals, CIC had asked for medicals for all family members and also asked to submit POF for family of 4 i.e. $ 20600.

Also I will be taking along my laptop, a watch & a mobile. What will be other formailities.

U carry settlement funds as per the no. of 'accompanying' family members on ur file [vide the CIC table]. Since u don't have any [others not approved as accompanying] - u carry POF only for u [one person].
