Hello guys please help me. I have applied last year oct 22 2013 for winnipeg and they gave me a file number on 23 oct 2013. Since then I been checking my status. And now its saying assessment pending. My sponcer already submited the sp2 in oct 30th. And the main issue is my husband have lived there 6 years in toronto and montreal. He came back in india 2009 and his sister went to edmonton with her husband in 2011 on permanent immigrant from india. Would it effect on my file in manitoba. Because the file is under my name and my husband have blood relation in edmonton?

did you mention it in your application? there are some cases that if you have a strong connection from the other province of canada they usually think you might be going out of manitoba once you landed or wont finish the 5 years. So theres a slim chance that it might be an issue which i hope not. =)

but once you got your LOA letter of acceptance from MPNP you will be sending the application to CIC right, so in CIC there is a form in which you have to indicate that you the principal and spouse travel in a country for more than 6 months. Then as far as i know you need to provide a police clearance from that country. if you your husband didn't do anything bad or wrong there's no need to worry. just tell them the truth,after all canada doesnt want you to lie on the application.

We Didnt hide anything in mpnp forms. We did mention about his blood relations and his past canadian history. He never had any criminal records and the good thing is he have a police clearence certificate from canada , before he left canada he got it done and its written on the top of it that this is for immigration purpose. So one thing more. Our sponcer is a white guy and he is very close friend of my husband he never met me but we both do talk to his family and him online. We all usually talk over phone and skype. So does it effect on the case that I have never met my sponcer? I put "NO" in Sp1, its written in the form 'it says have you met your sponcer ? So I had to tell the truth. "no" and I wrote that he is my husband's friend"
