Anyone else received LAA today Dec 21? Asking for a friend who reviewed LAA via email but there is no information on portal when login or any information about draws online. Can anyone help clarify?

Yes, I know a few who did... it's not been publized yet, dunno why.

it's on their website now, see link below. the draw was for only SWO

How does SWO and SWM differs (outside of minimum 60 points) ?

What determines if someone qualifies through SWO or SWM ? Does

Is it similar to CEC/FSW ? For some CECs, they may also qualify via FSW through updating the proof of funds in their profile.
I am guessing they limit people who claim Manitoba demand profile (+500 points) through SWM only.

SWO - skilled worker overseas, this means you're applying from outside canada, outside manitoba
SWM - skilled worker in manitoba, this means you're applying from inside manitoba.

So they are 2 separate pools and identified by whether you claim Manitoba Demand category or not.

I don't like the fact that they are lately only considering SWM with close relatives in Manitoba, is it going to be a trend or what? not changes or opportunities to the rest of us.
