Hello guys, I'm seeking some help regarding my separate letter of approval issued by the MPNP
My mother who was the principal applicant for the MPNP economic stream got her letter of approval, but me, as her son accompanying her to canada, was sent a separate letter of approval stating that my mother was nominated for the province of manitoba for permanent residence status in canada and that MPNP is issuing me a separate letter of approval and certificate number because they have determined that I will not be eligible to be included with my mother's application for permanent residence status at the time a permanent resident visa may be issued, so I have to submit a separate application to CIC for a permanent resident visa as a provincial nominee. So I'm a little bit confused about weather I'm still considered as an adult dependent or am I going to apply a separate application with completely separate documents including IELTS score and other recommended documents. I'm also confused about if getting married or graduating from my university would cause CIC to withdraw or reject my application for permanent resident. So I need to know if I have to do IELTS exam and include it with my application, and weather I need to have a bank account with enough money for myself, and I need to know If getting married would not affect my application status and if it does not weather my wife could be included in my application or not. Thank you very much I'm waiting for your answer guys.

My mom is the principal applicant, too. I and my sister each got a separate letter of approval from MPNP.
I think we're supposed to take the IELTS exam so we could complete all requirements in the checklist for our separate applications.
I've been studying for 2 extra years now, just to comply with CIC's requirement so I could still be my mom's eligible dependant.
But the letter confuses me. It says I'm not eligible or not likely will not be eligible to be included in my mother's application for PR status at the time a PR visa may be issued.

Kindly put a call through to MPNP or email them to clear any ambiguity you may be having so as not to have issues down the lane when you file with the CIC.

Regards.

I received an email today from the CIC saying that my application is considered complete and including my application number and that it will be sent to the visa office assigned in my application... so I recommend you to include with your application everything written in the document check list including the IELTS score ( general >5 ), and to send your application together with the principal applicant application in 1 folder... Good luck for your application.
