MPNP ONLINE APPLICATION

Hello everyone,

Happy new year and it's good to hear all the good news about LOA, AOR, and from those who landed in Winnipeg.

I applied end April and my sponsor was interviewed end October but didn't get any feedback on LOA. To allay the tension that we've been under for the over 2 months of silence from MPNP, I mailed them yesterday and this is the response I got:

"The application is in the final processing steps, the applicant will receive notification of outcome by mail."

From your experiences, will like to know whether this is a system generated response or any cause for concern.

Hi! I just submitted my online application on January 10, 2014. I had sent an incorrect email so I emailed the Manitoba HELP online on January 12 on how to edit my email address and if they can forward the emails that they already sent to the incorrect email address. On January 14 they forwarded to me the Settlement Plan part 2 that they emailed my sponsor but no file number yet. Until now I haven't received any email from them. How long will it take to receive a file number in cases like mine?

Will they still consider my application even if I made an error? Are they sending email if the application is rejected?

who among here applied as MPNP under general stream, whose sponsor is a friend in Manitoba? anyone? I have a problem, my bank account since I worked 3 years ago is a joint account with my mom, but all the funds there were from my own salary... what should I do? I heard they are not accepting joint accounts thanks

The fact that MPNP sent Settlement Plan Part 2 to the correct email address means your application error has been rectified. Don't worry too much. Just wait a li'l bit more for your file number, it will come in time. You may send them an email to inquire probably after a month since you applied. I've read some case from other thread when a file number is sent a bit delayed.

Another question, my parents bought a lot and they built a house before and they named it after me.. can I add it as declaration of real estate in my proof of funds? please help.. thank you guys. i need your opinion

You can definitely do this..include copies of Transfer Certificate of Title and the Tax Declaration under your name. You shall need to include the appraised value of the property which will be the basis of your proof of funds. Either you have an appraiser do this for you which you have to pay, or just include a copy of your statement for real property tax you receive every year. The latter should include market value (land and building) for your property.

As far as I know, we don't have a national identity number in the Philippines. This has been discussed in another thread which I read before.

I agree with you simplyblessed. For Filipinos, we do not have a national identity number. Other ASEAN countries has this though, like Singapore and Malaysia. For the form, it can be left blank since there is already a space for passport details.

Hi fjzdecastro,

After online application just wait for your file number. They will ask your sponsor to send SP2 then wait for their interview, and it will take months..for your reference kindly check mpnp general stream applicants batch 2013 timeline to give you an idea of waiting time..nowadays, the processing of GS applicants slowed down.but have a little faith and hope for the best for all of us..

Hello po! I submitted my online application sep 19, 2013 and recieved my file number the following day. Now, i recieved an email telling me that i did not meet the eligibility criteria as my father's birth certificate was not attached. Ano po pwede ko gawin? will I reply and attach my father bc or will i start all over again? Please do help me..
