yes u can do that. It won't be a problem just inform them in writing.

No there is no arrangement. They will just call your relative based on the telephone number that you have provided in your application. I cannot recall if it was done during office hours or after. The questions are quite basic like what is the full name of the applicant, how long have you known each other, when was the last time you talked to each other, etc. In other forum threads there is a more comprehensive/detailed list of what was asked during the interview that was posted recently.

i applied last july 2012 under the family stream online and i hvent received any updates since then.. i got my AOR d day after i submitted my application.. i am now waitng for the interview of my relative sponsor who has endorsed the SP2. do u have any idea as to how long will it take for them to be called up for interview? i am now on my 2nd month of waitng.. im praying that my LOA will be given sooon. big tnx God bless

Hello, I got the LOA yesterday!!! it was appoved september 12!
I applied july 3rd, got an email on july 4th and did not get anything until yesterday!

Does anyone know after getting LOA under Manitoba Provincial Nominee, does the federal still interview relative who supported my application?

I think no. Nobody from this forum said that their sponsors were interviewed during the Federal stage.
