Hi pinoy2manitoba, salamat sa pag share ng landing experience mo,,nakakatuwa ka naman..cool na cool. at i think ganun nga dapat. salamat din sa mga inputs na kung ano mga kailangang gawin. nakakuha ako ng idea sa iyo dapat nga may baon, dami ko pa naman tsikiting na bitbit..hahaha..magastos din kaya yun..kuripot din si mister..hehe dinamay pa ang hubby.

hi there! went to the park awhile ago! maganda naman.. dami ng tulips.. saka umiinit na parang baguio lang ang temperature.. mahal ang hotdog sa park ung mga pinoy nagdadala ng baon. he he..

I'll be opening a bank account tomorrow. kelangan daw yon, dun daw kasi ipapasok din ang sweldo kung may trabaho nako. i'll be getting my SIN saka health card nadin.

sobrang daming pinoy dito.. lalo na sa ibang community.. dito sa area ko bihira... pero pag dating sa malls.. grabe, kahera, janitor, customers. name it.. pinoy.. ha ha... puro tagalog usapan kaliwat kanan.. hehe. ung malls parang macro and s&r.

Hi everyone! dito na po ako sa manitoba.. left the pinas friday the 13th... for the superstitious thanks to you, maluwag ang pila ng 1st time immigrant.. wala pila wait lang ako ng 2 minutes max.. ha ha..... what's unlucky for you, is a fortunate event for us.. he he

immigration officer is not strict i guess.. they didn't even take my luggage declaration.. was asked simple questions if i got jailed and 3 more similar stuff.. then that's it.. then the immigration officer even tried to scare me saying that this final interview will determine if i am admissible to canada.. then i laughed a bit.. he he.. then the officer got a bit offended.. but i didn't care.. he he. he said "seriously" he he.. i just smiled.. then after few minutes he said.. you are now a permanent resident.. ganun lang.. he he

for those expecting scenic views and fabulous place, for me po, hindi po iyon ang winnipeg, manitoba.. it is good na even before i left the philippines wala ako expectations dito..i was kinda expecting the worst he he.. kung di lang dahil dito sa forum diko ma appreciate pag punta dito.. merond din syempre mga benefits.. and sa dami ng gustong makarating dito, that made me want to go here.. kasi swerter na nga ako at may opportunit..

dito, mukang subic lang na malamig... wala tall buildings.. wa ha ah.. corny ang mga parties he he so far, .. guess this place is really for the people raising family.. but if you are single like me boring.. wa ha ah.. parang la life dito.. he he

But i thank God that i am finally here... i'll just try to be productive here and explore the small wonders that this place may offer.. as of now. it is just my day 1 going 2, i am pretty bored already!!! wa ha ah...

nothing special about the flight.. pag baba mo vancouver it is easy to follow direction kung saan pupunta.. for 1st time immigrant kanan lang laki naman ng sign board and meron nag aasist.. after nun, kunin lang luggage pag labas ng room.. tapos, i deposit nyo muna ung luggage nyo for winnipeg.. ask nyo kung pwede labas muna, wag kayo dumerecho security kasi pag pag pasok nyo dun sa mga gates mga kainan sa loob mahal ang bilihin.. labas ulit kayo dun sa kinuhanan nyo carousel, mura mga food dun.. around $2 solve ka na.. versus $7 sa loob after security.. para sa kuripot lang po to. like me.. he he.. sayang din money.. pag air canada mag dala po kayo earphone, di libre bilin nyo pa ng $30 isa.. kaya ako nagdala ko earphone ko saka food sa domestic flight.. mahal kasi food sa plane saka drinks.. he he. kuripot ba? wa ha...

ung papunta na just enjoy it.. at just be relax.. nothing much to watch out for naman.. he he

Hi controller, we have the same case, my youngest daughter has a skin asthma, pero di naman na ako nirefer sa Makati Med.. yung doctor na nagphysical exam sa amin sa nationwide pinarequest lang ako ng med certificate sa pediatrician ng anak ko, then sinubmit ko the following week (feb5) sa clinic..then wa na naman further instruction,,follow up lang ako when nila na forward sa CEM yung mga med result namin..di ko na din inemail ang CEM kahit yung isang anak ko nagrepeat ng xray (lordotic feb5), nagka primary complex cya before and may scoliosis kaya may repeat xray..basta nung nainip lang ako ng kahihintay ng PPR (he he he) saka lang ako nag-email inquiry sa CEM kung natanggap nila yung mga med result namin. no reply but thanks God, we received PPR last May 9.

This is just for you info para di ka masyado mag worry..everything will be alright. Hope this would help.

Conrgats also sa PPR nyo! In two weeks time VISA na yan! Yahoo!!! kami naman sususnod!

Pag air Canada sakyan mo as domesti flight Kung gusto mo manuod ng film or Kung ano man benga CPA earphone $30. Tapos d p Cla serve food. Santo Kung din we flght mo mappagastos k din plane by dinner. Kaya suggestion ok main n kayo pag kakuha a d deposit ng luggage as Vancouver, wag munanpasok or punta as gate nyo. Pag lumagpas n ulit as security dun as may kapkap sayo and x ray d is na makkalbas e mas mahal fur as loon. Arround $8 la la drink vs $2 LNG b4 security as may carousel.

went downtown awhile ago, enjoy naman ang trip. Manitoba is better than what i expected. he he.. buti nalang sobrang baba ang expectation ko dito kaya i am very satisfied with what i am seeing. I was able to get my first SIN ha ha... minutes lang tapos na. then pasyal ulit then in the afternoon manitoba health card naman.. dun medyo matagal kainis.. 10 mins siguro. ha ha... and ang dami fill up pan!!! OMG!!! mga 1 po.. pirma lang! no pictures no ek ek. straight to the point pls sign here tapos! ha ha... ay meron pa pala date tapos yun na! hehe...

pwede na daw ako mag work pagkaopen ko bank account para dun nila hulog sweldo ko... e ayoko pa kaya! he he.. mag lagkwacha muna ako... shop a bit relax and enjoy God's wonderful creation here in the up north... hehe...

ganda na daw ng weather dun sa papunta ngaun.. best season talaga ang spring.. di mainit and sarap ng lamig!

baka di nako mag attend pala ng seminars.. ayaw na ng mga kapatid ko waste of time for me daw.. para lang daw un sa mga newbie na need ng assistance.. so kung la lang daw ako magawa saka ako attend.. pwede naman.. turuan kayo gawa resume and kung san apply he he.. eh yoko pa naman apply... chill chill lang he he..

piece of advise, dont expect much frm manitoba, para ma appreciate nyo naman pag dating nyo dito.. hehe..

hello everybody. it's my first time here in this forum. i applied under family support stream. my 1st cousin submitted my application march 17, 2011 then got an AOR april 4, 2011 asking for additional docs. proof of relation from my first cousin and bank history for the last three months. you guys are right medyo nagiging strict na ata sila when it comes to settlement funds. then submitted additional docs may 6, 2011. now waiting for LOA. i hope it will be soon...
