Good day! I'm new to this forum, well I would like to share my story

July 2009 - MPNP application submitted
September 2009- AOR
April 2010 - Letter of Refusal; I got only 54 points,



I never thought I would be in this scenario, before I passed my documents I checked if they were complete and legible.Stated in their LOR that I have 60 days to send a Letter of Appeal. Maybe the program officers forgot to give me points in language factor considering that I have been working in American company since 2007 up to date. I attached with the Letter my Certificate of English Proficiency confirming that English is our medium of communication.If they would consider I'll collect a total of 57 points.Hope my letter will work out and prayers will help enormously.

dear jummyoung, you applied in which stream and write ur self assesed points mean how u make 57. Actually they give u 7 points against language proficiency because without ielts in mostly cases they give 7. My advice for u its batter u give the ielts and u can get overall 6 band and they give u 8points and ur case will be sucessfull. And plz tell about ur education. Best wishes

what if i put the sticker at the back of my additional form submitted at the CEM, coz i have an incomplete details not filled-up in one of the forms to be submitted? is it still ok? or is my application still on hold?

i already passed that form as soon as i received the letter from CEM last april but i didn't put the sticker and until now i didn't received any feedback from them thats why i submitted the form again last monday with the sticker at the back.

Umm it is very important that you fill up everything, no blanks and follow the guide accordingly. It will surely delay your application and it may be sent back to you.

We are under Family stream. We live in a country that has adopted english as their second language so I think that is a good deciding factor as well. In any case, it is always a good idea to pass IELTS. I am a computer science and Aircraft Maintenance graduate, both school has english as their medium and I have worked for an American company for over 10 years now. The number of years also play an important role in your overall scores. Hope you get it the second time around.

hello candy, just asking how long it usually takes after medical do CEM request for the passport... we have our medical finished last march 3,2010....

hi Ellamance, the same with us we are waiting for ppr,our med result submitted last march 30/2010 and up to now we didn't receive response from the embassy.lets be patience and always think positive because others received their ppr after 4mos.Hoping NEXT WK NANDYAN na.

yup i'm also waiting for my PPR...dapat lagi tayo pray kahit anu dumating sa ating buhay pray lang ng pray and thanks god ....hehehe.. dapat lang na lagi tayong naka smile para di tumanda agad sa kaka wait ng PPR heheheh...god bless us all ...

March 2007 - submitted requirements to Manitoba
December 2009 - received LOA
January 2010 - submitted requirements/ documents to CEM
February 2010- rcvd letter for Medical request and payment of RPRF
March 3, 2010 - finished Medical examination

As of now waiting for request to send passport

Hi guys,

want to share my application track.

April 2007 - submit requirements to Manitoba
June 2008 - received Certificate of Approval
July 2008- submit application to Canadian Emabassy Manila with the Certificate of approval
Oct 2008 - rcvd letter for Medical request and additional requirements plus
payment of permanent residence fee
Oct 23 - medical done
Nov 10 - medical reports forwarded to Embassy
Nov 14 - submitted additional requirements and payment as well

Please share yours...trully appreciated

Hi Joji,

We send our passports last May 10 only. In your case, since your ecas changed already just wait for a week or 2 weeks then you already have your visa...congrats in advance...keep me posted ok
