Urgent guidance is needed, Kindly reply.

I applied under General stream in January 2011 and they asked for some documents after few months. In November 2011 they gave me Temporary file number and required more documents, which I submitted before the last date of February.

I mailed them and they said "We received your additional documents and your file is with us waiting for its turn to be assessed"

MY QUESTIONS :

*How much time will they take and I don't know about my stage. Have I already get AOR or LOA ? I am a newbie. What will be the next step. Kindly let me know. Thank you.

* If we get a Temporary File number. Does it mean we are accepted or do I have more chances ? Is my case 50% completed or how many percent it has been completed ?

Even I hv the same case ! I recd temp file number too in feb 2012 and I am waiting for the next step...Praying for the best...

you mean something like VO,PR, etc?
VO= visa office
PR= permanent resident/residence
RPRF=right of permanent residence fee
ME/MR=medical exam/medical request
DMP=designated medical practitioner
UCI=unique client identification
AOR=acknowledgement of receipt
DM=decision made
PP/PPR=passport/passport request

there are still lot more not listed here, but these are the commonly seen acronyms here

not denied, but if you already declared it and you are undergoing treatment (like meds or braces or anything sort of) then it won't be a problem..there may be some delays for referral, but if you can function well to work and it does not cause you interference in work, then i think you're good to go...

hi blessedme! i still haven't done any treatment for it..
i'll try to check if mine is considered as MS. i hope its not though :((

was it submitted in CIO? from the timelines posted by others, i believe it takes 1-2 months for AOR and 4-6 months for LOA..so you are still within the waiting time... so how come you had your medical exam done without your LOA?

@ ALL

Kindly tell me what happens after the Sponsor has been interviewed and the applicant has received LOA

What is mentioned in LOA ?

How much time it takes to get PR after the LOA ?

When will the applicant have to submit the Settlement funds and when will the Medical exams take place ?

Kindly tell me some time line. Will it take a year after LOA or more to get PR?

The question is about MPNP General stream.

Kindly answer these. Thanks.

INTERVIEW QUESTION

If my sponsor have been asked this question, what should be the correct answer ?

* What way would you be able to support you father if he moves to Manitoba?

How to answer this question because the Applicant (father) already have enough settlement funds which are required. 10000 CAD for applicant and 2000 CAD for each applicant.

So how to answer this because the Applicant will not need any financial assistance.

kindly answer it too. Thanks.
