I was feeling so bored yesterday, I read again from the beginning of this forum the blogs of the members. I have noticed na there are member/s na 2007 pa nag apply pero they got hold of their LOA only recently. For as long as you don't receive a denial letter, you have to keep your faith that LOA is on its way to your doorstep. God Bless...

i sent my CEM2 with the rprf to the PO Box address as directed in their AOR email. my CEM1 was sent to the visa section address as suggested by the dhl personnel.

funny that you asked about the check janmyung. i talked to the bank just now and they told me that they can't trace my check. in my case, i bought a bank draft from BPI bec my bank is a RURAL bank and do not issue foreign currency checks. what i think i'll do now is contact dhl to see if the CEM2 documents has been sent to the PO box of CEM(which i think is pointless bec i gave them a contact number and a return address! i'm only going to do this to keep myself busy! LOL) and just pray that they have already encashed it.

@tiwanti-- thank God it's friday again, but no update on MR yet!

i sent my CEM2 with the rprf to the PO Box address as directed in their AOR email. my CEM1 was sent to the visa section address as suggested by the dhl personnel.

Just got back ( BDO ), I insisted that it is a managers check so it should be traceable. They have a list of all outstanding checks. Luckily, I was able to persuade them. Check was encashed last July 7, 'twas sent last June 25.

It's a big relief because I accidentally sent the check to the Level 6 address and not the PO address. So it's all good.

hi wengski.. alang difference,,pero syempre mas mabilis pag dropbox..

we sent our initial docs via DHL June 10, 9 oclock in the morning.. at na-track namin na bumagsak sa embassy June 11 at 10am.. so may 1 day na diffrence.. unlike nung nagsubmit kame ng 2nd set of requirements personally delivered by me, direcho na syempre un sa drop box.. may kakilala ako March pa nagsubmit ng application ung isa April, til now la pa cla medical request.. what`s happening with the CEM??? ??? ??? ???

my bad! my wife and i initially addressed the docs to the CEM PO Box, but DHL wouldn't accept it bec they need someone to receive the package(why didn't CEM think of this before? they indicated in the email that i need to forward it to the PO Box, but since i'm from the province i always use DHL). so we ended up sending it to the Visa Section address! i was able to talk to a DHL employee this morning and they confirmed that package was sent and received by a guard. Maybe i'll call the embassy later to check if they encashed it already...

i'm not that worried tho as the check is payable to CEM only, i'm sure the guards there are trustworthy! hahahaha

just to keep the worries away, i always think that Canada has given us an average processing time. as long as i'm within the timeframe, i'm still good.

and yeah, i think there's no difference on the address too. but in my case, i was directed to send it to the PO Box but ended up sending it to the other address again as per DHL protocol. not following instructions! hahahaha... i think CEM would understand...
