My clearance from Singapore police finally arrived yesterday. Thanks be to God...I was able to submit to CEM through courier today . I continue to pray for God's abundant mercy and providence. Thank you all for your guidance and help. My special thanks to Ogboy. ;D God bless us all.

To be honest it will be hard to find someone who will help you up, specially if they don't know you. Most who are there, would rather support their relatives. Even if they could afford to help you, they will also put into consideration their credibility. Money and credibility will be involved here. Once you arrived and commit something wrong, they will also be questionable. And if they have plans to help out other relatives in the future then I think they will risk that factor.

I think it will be better if you would apply under federal if you have sufficient funds.

Hello Mylynie,

I sent my request for cncc to the Singapore Police thru courier on July 29. I got it thru mail on the 24th August. Quite okay. Good luck to all of us.

How long did it take to secure your clearance?for future reference lang kasi when the time comes i'd be getting clearances din for my husband who has worked in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.Its better to know na din what i will do para naman at least prepared.

Update ko lang yung timeline ko.
february 10, 2010 - request for medical and other docs -
may 18, 2010 - medical forwarded to embassy
July 30, 2010 - PPR request
August 18, 2010 - passport received by embassy
ECAS status - in process

** to all who wants to renew their green passports - just go to directors office of dfa with your PPR request from embassy. Thats what I did kaya na e passport na yung green passport ko and na delay ng 2 weeks and pag pass sa CEM. They will consider it to renew your passport without appointment. But you can still pass your green passport as long as its 6 months valid from date of departure in manila with enough space for visa, departure and arrival stamp **

Actually kasabay ko si jannilhen, same date kami ng submission to CEM and AOR. Kaya sana dumating sa tamang date yung mga nauna sa atin!
