I am starting a new thread for all of the Pakistani applicants who submitted their files at CIO, Nova Scotia in 2012 after getting LOA.

ı applied to mpnp for general strem on november 2011 then ı just got phone call for some questions...so what is next ?ı am so wondering about that ...how long is take it more?

Soon you will get your LOA (Letter of Approval from Manitoba) Because usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get the LOA after the phone call. God bless you.

(MPNP) Can I apply for Family stream(online) with General stream case in process


Hi All,

Kindly give me brief and complete answer to my question.

My father applied for MPNP General stream in Dec 2010 which includes my father, mother, me and my brother. (My brother in Manitoba sponsored us) Now our case is moving at snails pace and after such a long time, our sponsors haven't received an interview call and hence no LOA,

Now I am planning to apply alone for MPNP Family stream and I qualify for all the points.

Age 25
Degree : Masters
Work experience : 4 years
Language : IELTS 6.5 overall bands
Adaptability : I have 15000 CAD bank statement (settlement funds)


Question :

Can I apply for family stream if my case is still going on for General stream ??

This will mean I will be having 2 cases running at the same time.

I think your father should called or you could call manitoba office and find out whats happening with the application, they will speak to you on your file before you submit a new application. Why did your father apply for the general in the first place and not the family support stream that fact that he has a son their cause the general stream is only for persons who dont have close relative there, perhaps that why they havent respond to your father yet. Call them and let me know what they said. Good luck

Thanks for the reply. My father didn't applied for Family stream because he is 55 years old and the family stream requires the applicant to be in between 21 and 49 years of age. So he is not eligible for the Family stream.

I've sent an email to MPNP. I'll call them soon. Thank you.

will it affect MPNP application if I leave the job after applying for MPNP ?
experience is already of 4 yrs at the the time of application applied.

OR

if my NOC code changes after applying for MPNP ?
experience is already of 4 yrs at the the time of application applied.

Approval Received : July 8, 2011
Interviewed (Sponsor) : Nov 11, 2011
Received request for Orig Docs ecember 6, 2011
Submitted Final Docs : March 28, 2012
AOR-CEM : July 15, 2012

He might have his medical done this July. Yehey!!

March 2012 - AOR
June 22, 2012 - sponsor's interview
July 25, 2012 - LOA dated June 26, 2012

I just noticed that we had wrong dates for your case in the tracking sheet. just fixed it can you tell how your mpnp application was submitted ? directly dropped in the office or mailed them ? by the way what the status on the interview part ?

Thanks for updating Nova Scotia is not part of the picture at this point it must be submitted to local office in winnipeg.

I wish you luck for the interview and will update your information in tracking sheet accordingly.

By the way it just strikes me if your aunt is sponsoring you then your stream is family or general ? if it is general then who else is sponsoring you along with your aunt.
