i asked those who have recently received their MRs..their VO (visa officer) initials are CSP and LVP..so di pala nakadepend sa VO initials in our AORs (like in my case, KMR) ang long overdue pendency of our applications..it appears to me na c KMR lang nag check ng application package ko, then ituturn over sa ibang VO for counter checking and issuance ng MR, then to another VO for PPR and visa..sort of their check and balance cguro..

guys, for those who will be receiving their MRs please inform us the date of your MR and VO initials indicated therein for reference lang..salamat.. (inip mode :) hehe! ;D

No updates yet. Our friend told us that we should hear from the immigration by last week of January, but we are hoping it will be earlier. Good luck to us!

Now I am still waiting..Does anyone know if its ok for me to follow on this, because its now january and the status of my ecas is still "IN PROCESS"
its almost 2 mos now since I submitted my passport, I know there are a lot of Holidays last Dec. but I'm still worried. Help me, if there's someone who has the same situation. Thanks

I also sent our passport last Nov 15, my ecas is still "IN PROCESS", I emailed the embassy if they already received our passport, I am waiting for the reply, I'll let you know the reply later... Hopefully we received our visa this January.

BTW, I applied under Family Stream.

I think I have the same timeline with Sunshine & Jie22.

You only waited a month, you got your MR na....
Can i ask, Family stream kba? and ilang taon na dun relatives mo sa Canada?

Im still thinking the reason behind their way of processing, others' sre so fast, while ang tagal nung samen!

One more question what did you fill in Intended Occupation ?? My cousine currently she is working with CA firm in India. So I am thinking will mention "Accounting Field". Also do i need to fill Economic Class imm0008_4Ae form as well?

Hi,

We sent the application package last week of June. Then, they interviewed our friend last December. Basic questions were asked, i.e about work, how long have we known him and if we have constant communication with him. The officer said we would hear from them this January. We are really hoping and praying we could be in Winnipeg within this year. God bless us and good luck to us all!
