MPNP - International Student Graduate

Hi, I am a working graduate (been working for 10 months now), I emailed MPNP regarding going back to school after nomination (probably will get it in August, if it takes MPNP 6 months to process my app): "After nomination (working graduate received the letter of approval from MPNP), is one allowed to go back to school for a master's degree or another undergrad degree while the PR application is being processed by CIC? Or is that a violation against MPNP policy? Providing that the applicant still does intend to live and work in Manitoba after the studies. Thanks!”

MPNP responded: “You may return to school, however, if you do attend school before your Permanent Residency is approved, you will be required to obtain the study permit in order to do so.”

And then I realized I was not asking the question clear enough - what I meant is "Can I go back to school full time and work only part time while waiting for my application to be processed by CIC?" So I emailed MPNP again, but no responses. Would anyone be able to help me with my question? Suggestions? Thanks!

Did u get a response?.....so you can study while waiting for your nomination as long as you have a study permit?

I'm an International graduate student from Ontario and almost working in Manitoba for a year now. I know that as a graduate from other province, I can only apply after 1 year experience. Am I eligible to apply under skilled worker in Manitoba? Or skilled worker overseas? My job is completely based on my education.

Hi

I may stand to be corrected but, if you are working in MB for a year then you are a skilled worker in Manitoba.

Can you not go MPNP offices and speak with someone?

the whole basis of MPNP is to prove a strong connection to Manitoba province.

the latest draw indicates that the draw was from 540 pts and up.

do u have a friend/relative in another province? If yes, apply for a study visa in that province.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I have a friend in regina, saskatchewan and I am not living canada . I have a bachelor in EEE.So, Could you please tell me how can I get a student visa .

Note : My CGPA is less than 3.
