MPNP Inland - Call from the office

Hey guys,

I used to hear that the MPNP office calls you when they are reviewing your application (inland), but I haven`t heard anybody saying that anymore.

So the question is: are they still calling the applicants or is that a thing from the past? If the answer is yes, do they usually call you in which phase of the process?

I got a call from MPNP on the same day I was called and they asked me for bank statements for last couple of months to check if I had $10000+$2000(For dependent) in my bank account.
