Yep, i've read your post and it's good to know that we're getting closer to what we've been waiting for.. Pray and hope for the best.

Godspeed!

Hi,

As for what I've been reading about some posts of September applicants here, their sponsors had been interviewed before they received their AORs which both took place on the month of February, and LOAs already received this March.

As for my application, MPNP's last update was just the AOR which I received via email last feb 25 and still waiting for my sponsor's interview. Now I'm feeling a bit worried cause if you compare their timeline to mine, we can say that it's somehow delayed. Would you think that the delay factor was that I chose to used the MAS form (Affidavit of Support) which was still valid to use at the time my application has been submitted over Settlement Plan forms?

I do hope that there isn't any major problem why's this happening. It is truly appreciated to those who read this post if you could share your insights and opinions. Thank you and God bless!

Hello Silver, I think your assessor is a little bit slow compared to others. I do not think that the MAS causes the delay because they allowed it when you submitted it. They are slow lately because of the changes for the points, they have been obsessed with it, as i see it. Hopefully, this month it will start to rain goodnews.

Thanks kurt!!

For sure your LOA is on it's way to your doorstep...

That's the spirit! It is but proper for MPNP so work on their backlogs. Let us also remember that Manitoba needs more immigrants hence they have changed the point system into a simpler one. ;D. We will all be there as time permits.

Good news!

I am hearing plenty of sponsor interviews for FS Dec 2012 applicant. I hope it will continue in the coming weeks, especially for GS applicants. Grin Grin The source of our member Ad never fails to inform us. Wink

BTW, I also noticed several changes in MPNP website and now I cannot find the Q&A part or the field/form for inquiry which i am using to ensure 100% of return emails. Instead i have seen this, http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/how-to-immigrate/mpnp-resources/.

NOTICES:

√ Reminder: check your e-mail

Applicants, Manitoba Supporters and consultants are reminded that all MPNP correspondence is by e-mail. Ensure the program has your current e-mail address. If sending updates to immigratemanitoba @ gov.mb.ca make sure to include your full name, file number (if applicable) and both your new address and the address you previously provided. (Those who applied by mail will continue to receive postal correspondence.)

√ Get help with MPNP applications

In Winnipeg attend an information session on applying online to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Skilled Workers, most Tuesdays and Thursdays at the MPNP office: 7th Floor, 213 Notre Dame Ave. You must first register by phone, 204-945-2806.

√ Application status inquiries

Manitoba Immigration and Multiculturalism, including the MPNP, does not accept inquiries (neither by phone, e-mail or in person) regarding the processing status of applications submitted to the MPNP.

√ New mail-in MAPP form

The MPNP still accepts mail applications from clients unable to use the Internet. To get the current MAPP go on the Internet and download and print the English or French form on our website using Adobe Reader.

I am betting that they will no longer respond to any inquiry related to app status.

Thanks for this update kurt!

People of the world,

I would like to share that I received to replies from MPNP, it was stated there that as of now they are still encoding all applications for the month of September 2012(General Stream).

HTH

Thanks itguy for that info,

No wonder my application haven't got an update since the arrival of AOR last feb.
All we need to do is just wait...wait..wait...wait.. :o

Dear,

1. how much is waiting time / processing time (for general stream MNIP online applicants) for medicals or PR visa after getting LOA (Letter of approval) from Manitoba immigration ?

2. How much time MNIP Immigration takes after close friend's interview in Manitoba ?

3. What is average processing time from submission of application till medicals/PR visa ? I heard 6-8 months for LOA (close friend's), and around 6-8 months afterwards. means total around 14-16 months on average. Is that true ?

Please reply.
