These are the questions asked by the MPNP to my supporter, specifically 1-6, Most of them are in the Settlement Plan. I suggest you give a copy of this to your sponsor with answers of course. Also, they asked him about his personal info. My supporter is a first timer sponsor and he was shocked that it was super casual and simple. ;D

1. Please describe your relationship with the applicant.
2. Accompanying family members of the Applicant.
3. Describe how will you assist the applicant and accompanying family members with the implementation of his/her Settlement Plan.
4. Describe how will you assist the applicant and accompanying family members with finding suitable housing.
5. Describe how will you assist the applicant and accompanying family members meet initial and daily needs.
6. Describe how will you connect the applicant with settlement services offered in Manitoba.

7. Have you previously supported a relative or friend under the MPNP?
8. What is the work of the applicant? Where?
9. Aside from MPNP, did the applicant applied for another route like Federal Skilled Worker?
10. In case the applicant and her spouse were approved by MPNP what NON-REGULATED work or employment can they get basing on their experiences, trainings and education?
11. Do the applicant and accompanying dependants have relatives in other province?
12. Do you think the applicant will be able to adapt easily here in Manitoba?
13. When was the last time you talked to your Applicant or have a communication with them?
14. When was the last time you saw your Sponsor/ Applicant?

what is the category of your application?? based on the basic requirements that I have read, they are requiring all applicants to submit a language test based on the job category they will be under(NOC A,B,C and D). An applicant should have at least a minimum band score of 4 in all modules(listening, speaking, writing and reading).

BREAKING NEWS: General Stream is NOW AVAIL under ONLINE APPLICATION.

MPNP Online – improvements, expansion

Now, all applicants can take advantage of the easier, faster process by using MPNP Online.

Previously, the Province of Manitoba's online application tool – a secure service managed on the government webserver – was only available to Priority applicants.

For 2013, the cutting-edge tool can also be used by General applicants – skilled workers who have a connection to Manitoba through family, friends, work or school experience but do not meet the program's minimum criteria for language, employability and adaptability.
MPNP application processing times

Each year the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program receives thousands of applications. While we still accept applications by mail, processing is much faster when you use MPNP Online.

When you log in, MPNP Online guides you to type in all required information, and shows you how to scan and upload required supporting documents (such as birth certificates and educational records) on which your application is assessed.

That means when you click the Submit button, our office automatically receives a complete application – ready for speedy assessment.

Applying by mail is much slower because our assessment officers must correspond with applicants and/or their representatives and wait for missing, illegible or improper documents, then collate and electronically process documents sent after the application is initially received.

Hello mate
I want to know about how the online application works, i am planning of submitting my application on or before month end (march). How long will it take me to get response from MPNP when i submit. Thanks

usually AOR receives within a day or after a day it depends to the assessor of your application, LOA comes after 4-5 months for online applicants.

Hello there, Itguy is correct, you will receive it a day or after you have confirmed or completed all documents. The processing time for MPNP is ever changing, some of the online applicants receive it within 3 mos, others 6 mos, it really depends on the assessor.
