Hello,

It is not about what draw you you are that matters, your application starts counting from the day you submit. for example, if you are 8th draw and submitted in December, your file number will start from: 1512..... as far as l know, they have started issuing LOA for those that submitted in November.

Good luck to all of us.

I am from 8th draw. I submitted my sp2 around 30th October. But no status change yet. So how cum people who submitted sp2 in November can get a status change. The approvals come as per draw date only . A guy from 7th draw who submitted his sp2 in December got LOA along with others from draw 7. So I am 100% sure about this.

Hi Grewal! Could you please tell whether you can check you status now. When I am trying to upload to my account the system of MPNP just doesn't work or says it's error of system. Just wonder if its just my problem or they really changed something. Thank you!

MPNP portal was going through some upgradation till a few hours ago. Many people have been facing the same problem. I am not aware of the current situation. Hopefully it will start working. Let's be in touch. As we both are from draw 8. I am sending you my email through personal message. Do reply through that. 8th draw applicants should get together.

Please people...kindly assist me. I need to know what to do. I'm running out of time with my application. Please I'm begging for your assistance.

First cousin is 2 ways.
1. If your mother and your sponsor's mother are sisters. If so you need to get a document that proves that.. Basically, the passport of both the mothers that has the same parents name else the Birth Certificates that proves both their parents are same.
2. If your father and your cousin's Father are brothers. again the same like the previous one.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi
You need to provide birth certificate and passport for your mother or father depending on whichever side is for first cousin. Your cousin Birth certificate and passport plus cousin's mother or father birth certi and passport.

Guys
Be patience, the approval or file processing depends on your occupation and educational background. Some occupation are in high demand so they process the application faster compare to others.

Thanks a lot for Your suggestions confirms what I thought. However, my father and my cousin's dad do not have birth certificates. I know I can get for my dad, but my cousin's dad is late now. Diesd since 1992. My dad is about 74yrs old now. My cousin in Manitoba also hasnt got one. Infact, I just got NPC to make a birth declaration for my cousin, and my father is standing as surety. He is 67 years old now. That is the challenge. I don't know how else to prove that we are cousins. It really is setting me back. I do not know

Hi! I am from 8th draw and still my status has not changed from Received. Though I am trying to check it for the second day already and the system uploads very slowly and then says ERROR. Can you check you status right now? Or it seems that something is wrong with it or they change something?! Thank you!

I logged in MPNP online just now and it worked just fine.

Application Status is still Received.

My cousin's dad who is my sponsor doesn't have BC also and he died 23 yrs ago.. What my mom did (they are siblings) she filed in the birth town of my uncle a request to register his birth cert and it was not easy cos you need a witnesses then the town registrar will have to file it to NSO and wait till they process the birth cert.. Hope this help

If French language is second language, the maximum score for second language possible is 5.

If there is no Birth certificate for your cousin's dad, still you can show any other document that has the same parents name as your Dad's. Passport, and national ID and so on...

In my case, I only showed the passports for both of them with the same parent's name. and the passport of self and my cousin to show our parents.
