@znarfier I have a question to ask concerning my EOI which i already got 511 points overall. I have 10 years work experience over the last couple of years but on the EOI form the highest is 5 which gave me 75 out of 175, how can i score more with my 10 years work experience instead of the current 75 given currently. Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response.

Again 2 points.. Looks like it will touch 500 level after 3-4 years.. ;D ???

Hi znarfier,

I have a question on this , i am about to submit my EOI and I guess will have 475 Points , will it be batter to remain with my favorite destination Manitoba or should i go for Quebac , as such the points drop-down by 2 only so it can lead me to wait till 1 more year for LAA only.

@monikikinex u will have to use ur own statement of account valid for at least 3month statement, and u must have at least $10,000 canadian dollers in it, u cant use ur dads statement of account, cos if u submit this, ur province will still message u to give them ur own personal statement of account, so u will check d convertion rate of ur contry corrency to canadian dollers

hi
I deposit 10,000 CAD in my account just last month,
some people told me ur bank statement history 3 to 6 months old. so plz help me
i have just 1 month old bank statement .

Hi Znarfier,

I wonder why u are yet to be nominated almost 6 months of applying. If u belong to d first set of applicants under this new stream and have not been considered yet or ur employer/Manitoba supporter are yet to be interviewed, then we need a lot of patience. I understand that inland applicants in ur set already have nomination. Come to think of it, what have they been doing at d nomination office over these applications for almost 6 months now. I am only concerned bcos I don't know how long one has to wait.

@patomorog - allow me to answer your query.

MPNP gives points on work experience based on the past five years only counting from the date you submitted your EOI. It will not give points for your work experience in excess of the 5 years even if you worked 10 years, 20 years, etc.
The 75 points is the maximum you could get if you have 5 years of full time work experience. You can only get the 100 points if your profession is already fully recognized by a Manitoba/ provincial licensing body.

I hope this answers your query. Godbless!

samnina12345, hi there!

The MPNP online application proper will really ask of your 3 months bank statements. There is a portion there where you will be required to upload the bank statements.

Thanks @ZNARFIER,

I am now preparing all the documents required for the application. I have one problem, I have a bank account that has good history for 6 months but this is an OR account with my father. Is that okay? By the way I am applying with my child and a common law partner.
Can I use that as my settlement fund?

Thank you,
Hi monikkinix, pls refer to below statement from the MPNP website, it states that the funds should be in your name or joint with your common law partner.

Submit copies of bank statements and certificates of deposit demonstrating a clear financial history of sufficient and transferable settlement funds (liquid assets) in your name and/or the name of your spouse or common-law partner

Thanks Louise :)

I will use my personal account then, will they be looking at the date of deposits, like i will consolidate all my money into one account, meaning my history will show one time deposit of 10000 dollars, but my bank account is already existing for years.

adembamidele hello there!

since the program requires its applicants to be truthful, I would like to be honest with you that at some point I lost faith in the program coz as you can see when it started, the momentum was simply awesome then suddenly... anyway... I'm back on track and in the waiting game... my only therapy is watching the movements of some 2014 applicants... :)

Hi bro znarfier.. i feel the same. Though our difference is you received your LAA way ahead. And then you waited at around 6 months now. While i just received my LAA last September. Waiting from EOI to LAA requires a lot of patience too.. i submityed an EOI last May..and seeing SWO applicants with no progress makes me think of other options. An officememate got her passport request this afternoon. In just 6 months or so of processing via express entry.. a fellow FB group member who is a 2014 applicant got his LOA in just 5 months..oh well.. i was holding on to the statement in MPNPs website that the new system promises faster processing. But looking at the way it goes now, seems only those currently in Manitoba are progressing in their applications.. hhmmm... just sharing my thoughts as well.. and praying that MPNP will soon start with 2015 applicants overseas!

Let us continue to update each other here.. who knows tomorrow, znarfier will be posting his jolliest update on his application! Nothing is impossible ☺
