Received my LAA today.

"Based on the information you provided in your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Skilled Worker (MPNP-SW), we are pleased to invite you to submit a full application.

This Letter of Advice to Apply is valid for 60 days from the date of this message.

You now have two options:
Submit a full application to the MPNP-SW
Decline this invitation
If your situation (or that of your spouse or partner) has changed, you should try to re-calculate your ranking points using our Ranking Points grid available on our website before you decide to submit a full application."

Is there a chance, after I submit all the documents, I will not receive a nomination?\
How long does it usually take to know the status?

Thanks :)

First of all congratulations monikkinix and welcome to the Club!

Regarding your 1 Million Canadian Dollar question... well, all remains to be seen at this Point as you know the program is trying out a new scheme starting April 30th this year. It may follow a bit of the previous scheme but lets hope and pray that it'll be a better and faster scheme!

God bless!

Hello ssingh68! Welcome to this thread!

Based on my experince my MB suppoter hasnt been interviewed yet. So far ist been 5 months+ since I submitted my full app., though the MPNP through it's new scheme promised to have a faster processing time... so let's wait and see. As per the previous scheme, sponsors/supporters are being interviewed between 6-18 months. Please check on the previous posts with similar case as yours... Im sure someone with the same case as yours will be sharing his/her experience...

Good luck and GOD bless!

Hi dei14!

Try to improve your score

Make sure your profile is fully up-to-date and accurate. While your Expression of Interest is active, you can continue to update your profile with new information. There are things you can do to improve your score and increase your chances of receiving a Letter of Advice to Apply.

For example, you could:
•improve your language score by taking another test
•improve your education
•gain more work experience

http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/mpnp-for-skilled-workers/expression-of-interest/

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Apart from the above, let's hope and pray that your present score will be included in the future draws. And of course, you might want to check other options in immigrating to Canada such as... http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate/other-options/

Finally, never stop chasing for your dreams in life... do your best and GOD will do the rest!

Good luck and GOD bless!

Pls while look at my review its telling my name does not match with my EOI name I gave. I have checked the two they are the same, what could be wrong.

Hi

Thanks for ur help

I would very much value answers to my concern or know if there is anyone out there with similar issue

Applicant ranked 558 on my EO1 (SW) (NOC8431) General Farm worker but haven't received invitation letter to apply up until now, even though applicant's score is within range of draw. Could it be the profession in question is not viable ?

Please all answers to this regard will be appreciated

highty :- Yes occupation category can be the cause for this.. Some other also didn't received LAA even the score is in range already.

They also note the factor as occupation category and the one whose occupation demand is not in Manitoba they won't issue LAA whether your score is much better even.

I think you should try for Express Entry Pool.

Good day everyone,

For those who have already filled up their application for MPNP, I was hoping you can share your knowledge on these questions below:

*Total years of secondary education (high school) - do they really only count high school and not elementary?

*I have used English or French as the primary language of communication at work? How long? - I assume it's a yes since we use English at work but what proof can we provide for this? Is COE enough?

*I completed my secondary or post-secondary education in English or French? How long? - again what proof can we give? Is diploma/transcript sufficient?

*I have studied English or French as a foreign language or as a second language. How long? - same question as above. Will TOR suffice?

*I am a native speaker of English or French? - do we answer yes or no to this bearing in mind that we speak fairly good English although it is not our first language (being from the Phils).

Many thanks for those who will take the time to answer and God bless :)

Thanks @ZNARFIER,

I am now preparing all the documents required for the application. I have one problem, I have a bank account that has good history for 6 months but this is an OR account with my father. Is that okay? By the way I am applying with my child and a common law partner.
Can I use that as my settlement fund?

Thank you,
