Hello there...anyone pls help..i've just recently learned that there is an additional 50 pts for those applicants whose destination is outside Winnipeg. So i just want to tick "yes" for that question to have that additional 50 pts. The problem is I just cant find that questionaire when I logged in into my mpnp acct and wished to edit my EOI. Destinations mentioned there is just Winnipeg and blah blah and other places but there is no such "outside Winnipeg". But the thing that 50pts for outside Winnipeg destination is really mentioned there in the eligibility points grid. Now, how can I claim that awesome 50pts when there is no such question in the EOI form I submitted? Please help my friends...thank you thank you!

that "awesome" regional development point of 50 points is not for everyone to grab. A lot of applicants inappropriately availed of that intentionally and unintentionally but later on forced to decline their LAA because their supporters are actually living in Winnipeg. These people hamper the process. If your supporter is living outside Winnipeg, you just put your preferred destination in your EOI and not just tick yes ;D Once you put the specific location outside Winnipeg you will automatically claim 50 points. But I must warn you that if your supporter is actually living in Winnipeg and you proceed to apply after LAA, you will be banned for 2-5 years in applying to MPNP because of wrong declaration.

Hi

After receiving letter of advise you have to submit you file. Once you go to your MPNP application you will fill in the info and have to submit documents as well. If you are overseas then you will have to submit your settlement plan 1 and then your sponsor has to submit settlement plan 2 I am not sure how much time you will get for your SP2 as I am inland applicant. After that once all your docs are submitted your application status will change to assessment pending (it means an officer is looking into your file) after that you will get a call from MPNP officer to verify info ans then your employer will get one after wards they will call your sponsor. Sometimes they call only your sponsor and your employer. The day you will get call your status will get changed to assessment in process and then after final decision it will get updated as assessment complete.

im asking for a friend -- is it too late to shift to mpnp at this time? we both applied for ee under fswp...she doesnt have an ita yet. let me know your thoughts if there is still chance to try (realistically) and shift to mpnp.

My MPNP online status just got changed to Assessment complete. Fingers crossed I am expecting to receive the approval email by the end of today. ASA i have the email i will update you guys again. Thanks to all of the discussion group members as it is really very help full to have your support and guidance. I pray to God you all will get your LOA very soon. It took 4 months all together from entering to EOI to status complete for inland applicant.

Draw Date : 20th May 2015
File Submission : 8th June 2015
File Updated online : 23rd July 2015 to Assessment Pending

Dear all,
in Full Application, Education sector; I have some confusion.
I studied from First Grade to twelveth Grade in 3 different Schools. In particular:
First Grade to Fifth Grade : Primary School
Sixth Grade to Nineth Grade ( secondary education): Junior High school
Tenth Grade to Twelveth Grade: (secondary education) : High School
In MPNP application, regard in secondary education, what program completed I have choosen: 10 years secondary or 12 years secondary ???
Please advise me !!

I'm a plumber and I practise in Nigeria, a country in africa.
I have my trade test certificate and my certificate of apprenticeship.
I filled the EOI form and I answered "YES" to the "License and Trade/Profession" regulation question.
I have been sent the LAA since the 13th August 2015 now nd I have all my supporting documents intact but there's a problem about the licensing aspect, in the LAA sent to me, there's a paragraph that emphasises that applicants should refuse/reject the LAA if u don't have a license that is recognised in manitoba.
I enquired from the MPNP by mailing them and here's the reply I was sent;

"Thank you for your e-mail. You must be licensed in Manitoba in order to answer yes to that question on the EOI. If you have answered yes
and do not have the supporting documents, your file may be closed for misrepresentation. Please research your trade in Manitoba on the internet and determine if its an occupation that is governed by a licensing requirement. If it is, there will be an association that has a website and will provide information on licensing requirements.
Sincerely,
MPNP."

This reply is confusing because it didnt state if it wont be possible for me to be licensed if am outside canada or not, so am confused if i should simply reject the letter of advice to apply or go ahead with the documents i have with me. i already searched for websites who can provide infos on licensing requirement and i cant find any. The only ones i found was just fro the assesment of my trade.

im seriously confused and i really need serious help right now because i dont want a case of misrepresentation which could eventually lead to my file being closed and might end up in bans on future applications. Moreso i just have 37 days or thereabout for the deadline to submit a full application.
