MPNP EOI-SW (Expression of Interest - Skilled Workers) - 1st Batch 2015

I had submitted my full application last December 20. And the status is:

MPNP Application StatuS: Submission Pending

then as of today the status is:

MPNP Application Status: Received.

April 30 -- Submitted my EOI
Nov 27 -- Received the LAA
Dec 18 -- Submitted my full application to the MPNP
Dec 20 -- Got the MPNP File No.

Anybody have any advice whether I need to do academic assessment before MPNP review my document or should I wait til after the decision? Thanks

Hi, if you refer to credentials assessment - this is not required by MPNP upon submission of your application. Not even during the assessment or review of your documents by the MPNP since as I've stated it is not required. It is up to you if you already want to proceed with a credentials assessment as you would need it in Manitoba when you start off plans of pursuing studies or gaining a license to practice your profession there.

To give you clearer thought/s, do you mean that your "academic assessment" is for your degree to be recognized in Manitoba? Which stage is your immigration application now?

Hi Milsrome, yes I meant academic assessment. I just received the LAA, and about to submit my full application next week.

Hi Louis, in that case, I guess it's better to do academic assessment once I got the decision from MPNP. My thought is to save time and shorten unemployment period in Manitoba if I could do it oversea.

It is a bit odd, my supporter did not receive any call? Anyone has the same situation?

May 1, 2015 - EOI
June 25, 2015 - LAA Received
October 22, 2015- Assessment Pending
December 21,2015- Assessment in Process

Indiana, does this mean it took them 6 months to review your documents? I'm trying to predict how much time they assess document in order to plan whether I need to apply for a new job and start to work some time next year. Anyone has any advice? Thanks

June 9 -- MPNP received my Manitoba Supporter's SP P2
Nov 9 -- Assessment Pending
Nov 16 -- Supporter received a voicemail from MPNP
Nov 17 -- Supporter returned the call of MPNP + MPNP interviewed me & my spouse for 22.5 mins! = Assessment in Process
Dec 1 -- Assessment Complete
Dec 9 -- LOA dated 30 Nov 2015 was received via email

virtualfarzan You must need a connection in Manitoba & also your occupation must fall in MPNP occupation demand list.

IF any of above you don't have then you are not eligible to apply. Better try in EXPRESS ENTRY.

Hi Znarfier and for those who received LOA this 2015. May I ask how did you process your application thru CIC? I tried searching on CIC website, i can choose if it is express entry or paper based? What will be the best option? Thank you in advance.
