MPNP 3rd Draw OUT....LSR for skilled workers outside Canada - 581.... In 2nd draw it was 588... Just 7 points down???

So is there hope any for person who scores 400 will come in LAA race...

anyone here who used common-law as marital status? what are the requirements you prepared as proof of common-law partnership?

Marital status: marriage/divorce/death certificates; separation agreement; documents proving your common-law partnership of at least one year

As per my past readings, I haven't seen such so I want to say that the program didn't publish such info.

Anyhow, please check the link below for you to see the scores of the other applicants for which you will see some who even scored less that yours.

Previous work experience in Manitoba (6 months or more) -- 100
Completed post-secondary program in Manitoba (2 years or more) -- 100
Completed post-secondary program in Manitoba (one year) -- 50
Close friend or distant relative in Manitoba -- 50

Factor 5: Adaptability

Adaptability points are calculated based on the type of connection you have to Manitoba. All candidates must have at least one type of connection to our province (Regional Development is considered a supplemental connection factor; points can only be awarded in combination with a Manitoba connection). You cannot be awarded points for more than one connection factor, you will only be scored based on your connection which gives you the highest score. Supplemental points for Regional Development cannot be awarded to candidates whose connection to Manitoba is based on Manitoba Demand. All candidates indicating that they plan to settle outside of Winnipeg MUST at the time of application satisfactorily demonstrate that they have a convincing connection to a region outside of the capital city indicating a strong likelihood that they will make a long-term economic contribution to that region.


oijoi... not necessary... you will get 200 points also... but if you feel that it was advantageous for you to show more prominence of contact in Manitoba... you can add it too... but no extra points...

Can someone please explain how a guy who claimed his connection to Manitoba is a friend and chose his destination as a town outside Winnipeg scored 1073? Its kinda still baffling me. He said he was called the 2nd day after submitting his EOI and was asked what his occupation is, he told them he's a Bank Teller and now, he's gotten LAA. I know the marks they give someone going outside Winnipeg is 50points but, how having a friend connection to Canada and your destination outside Winnipeg gives you 1073 is what i don't know yet. Could it be that his occupation is highly needed in the town he's going to and is the reason he was given that high score?

maybe he already has a job offer. but the maximum points is just 1000.

That is strange to hear. The maximum you can score is 1000. I doubt the points of 1073.
