yes it may take 2 month and they may send you second PAN as well.

As I understand it if you have not yet been nominated you will be dealt with under the new rules.

I think the new rules are a good thing as you won't have $100k tied up in the form of a deposit.

I concur with your explanation, yes d new rule on $100k deposit sounds good but how about the Temporary work permit issued in-place of permanent resident??

If you fully intend to start a business and live in the province then you will get your PR soon enough. It's only going to be a problem to those folks who were just using the program to get PR with no intention of sticking around in Manitoba. Yes it would be preferable to have immediate PR but having all that extra cash to play with more than makes up for it in my view.

Hello, my lawyer says otherwise. He is saying since my application has been submitted I will follow the rules as per submission date.
either way, I am fine, as I am planning to live in winnipeg and manage my own business.

Your lawyer may well be right, it's not absolutely clear in the guidance how on going cases will be dealt with - good luck

I suppose another positive is that work permits are processed in 7 weeks rather than PR which is currently 17 months!
