Information about Strategic Recruitment Initiative..
Manitoba Invitation
The MPNP for Skilled Workers regularly issues Invitations to Apply to qualified candidates who are identified as part of one of our Strategic Recruitment initiatives in Manitoba and overseas. Issuance of an Invitation to Apply is at the sole discretion of the MPNP and applicants cannot self-select for eligibility with this connection to our province.

Required documents
To apply to the MPNP with the connection of Manitoba Invitation, you must upload in MPNP Online the Letter of Invitation you received directly from the MPNP after being interviewed by a program officer during a recruitment mission or exploratory visit.

Recruitment missions
The MPNP regularly travels overseas on recruitment missions, often in partnership with Manitoba employers. Watch this page for news of the next MPNP initiative.

Hi,

I just sent my MPNP EOI yesterday, I was told that I should have waited for the new MPNP guidelines this April. As I've seen in the trend, they only draw skilled workers overseas via Strategic Recruitment Initiative. I'm afraid that my application will get stuck once the new process takes effect. Please share me your thoughts?

i have submitted my application for MPNP on 3Jan2017... with 434 marks job category is 0731. and have not got any news from them ...
guys can you please advise when can i expect and how long it gonna take

Hello friends,

I am from Draw #18. Have applied from India and NOC WAS 2172.

Just got email that I was rejected.

"We have pre-screened your application and wish to advise that it has not been accepted for assessment because the information and/or documents you provided in your application is not consistent with the EOI profile that served as the basis of you receiving a Letter of Advice to Apply. "

Reasons they have given are
1) I have not included job duties of my previous employer.
2) My relative's document was not one year old.

My online status also changes to not accepted. It was wonder to me, instead of requesting documents they directly rejected. I have reply immediate that 1) I have already uploaded appointment letter and other details for my previous employer and 2) Yes, my relative has new driving license, PR card and health card. but because of old health card was tear I didn't uploaded. However I have uploaded old work permits and his job appointment letter.

For those who has not uploaded 1 year old documents please upload right now and don't forget to upload job duties for all employers.

Guys please help me, what to do. I have waited for more that 8 months and now they have simply rejected. Waiting for their reply, but please guide me what next step I go with.

MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative stream is only open to applicants who have received a Letter of Invitation from the MPNP inviting them to apply to this program. The MPNP regularly travels overseas on recruitment missions to identify possible candidates for this stream.
• Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to participate in an exploratory visit to Manitoba:
• Be between 21 and 45 years of age
• Demonstrate that they do not have a stronger connection to a province other than Manitoba
• Demonstrate employability and adaptability
• Hold at least a one-year, post-secondary certificate or training diploma, degree or certificate
• Have at least two years of full-time work experience in the past five years
• Demonstrate the ability to find a job in Manitoba in intended occupation (including plans to achieve licensing/certification, if necessary)
• Provide a Settlement Plan that demonstrates a genuine intention and ability to become established in Manitoba
• Provide General Training IELTS test scores from within the past two years, scoring at least 5 in each category

Applicants who have been invited to apply for immigration through this stream must first travel to Manitoba to conduct an exploratory visit. During this visit, they are expected to research communities and employment opportunities across the province, so they can decide on the best course of action for themselves and their families should they be selected to move to Manitoba.

I am hoping that in the near future, they will draw those overseas workers even without the Strategi recruitment. ???

[Don't worry about it for now, the new rules will start in April 2017 and we all in the same matter. let hope it is more friendly when the new rules take effect. ]
