Hello RSRS,

Did you have the documents, where copies only are being asked, certified as true copies? Documents such as passport copy, IELTS copy, birth certificates? Or photocopies should be fine? Thank you.

in CIC stage, can I confirm that if it is required for photocopy documents to be stamped as "certified true copy" by a notary public?

hoping for the best.
my sponsor told me the interview call took about 10 mins or so.
they asked about my personal information (education, work experiences, trainings, etc), our relationship (between me and my sponsor), their history in Canada and asked about my other relatives in Canada.
they also asked a few information about my wife...like education, work experiences, etc.

Looks like MPNP is processing applications from Draw#14, so there is a hope that Draw#15 might next in line.

Hang in there guys! These processing times are really frustrating.

One more question guys...

I'm applying on the basis of familial relationship of my wife's cousin who is Manitoba's permanent resident.

However, the birth certificate of cousin's mother in the field parents does not have patronomic (father's name) while my wife's mother's birth certificate does.
Do you think this could be a potential problem?

Example of patronomic: Sokolsky Sergey Ivanovich (Ivanovich is the father's name of Sergey) vs Sokolsky Sergey.

I know this is Russian culture specific, but if anyone could advise I'd appreciate.

Today my MPNP Status changed from "Assessment Pending" to "Information Requested". How should I know what information MPNP asked for? I did not received any e-mail from them either nor my sponsor.

Could anyone help me there?

Hi elizie, my sponsor had her interview last Jan 16,2017 the day before your sponsor's interview. I just want to know if your account status is already Assessment Completed? My MPNP
Status changed from "Assessment Pending" to "Information Requested" but didn't received any notifications or e-mail from them. I have no idea what information or docs should I need to submit. Any Thoughts about my worries?

I am new here, i need your help on urgent basis as i have time of two weeks only for documents submission.
I applied in 2014 and submitted IELTS result with application. Yesterday i received an email for submission of some documents for assessment of my case. The most confusing document is "IELTS result-examination date receipt"(words copied from email). I couldn't get that exactly.
My last IELTS has been expired and my band was 7. I have already submitted its score card scanned copy with application.
My perceptions are:
-Expired IELTS score card re-submission
-Receipt of Registration for new IELTS test

as officially the result can be available in two weeks after the test. the time for response in form of documents submission is two weeks only. The first recent date available is of February. So I believe as far as the documents submission is required in two weeks it can only be the receipt of test date registration.

Please help me to make the matter clear from your knowledge and experience.

Hi Allen,

My status is still under "assessment in process". It has not change so far and I hope that they don't request for any additional document(s)/information from me.
from what I have read from the previous threads in this forums, they will notify you (not right away) of the information/documents that they need.
You may want to check you spam/junk mail as it might be routed there as well.
- is your IELTS taken within the past 2 years?
- the bank statement you have submitted is it more than 1 yr ago from today?
- or probably some document(s) that you may have missed to submit?
- or anything in your application that they need to clarify on.
run through your documents and application see what possible document they may need from you.

btw, so your status was changed from "assessment pending" to "information requested" a day after your sponsor was interviewed? Did you had "assessment in process" status before your sponsor was interviewed?

This is bit confusing to interpret. Instead of taking chance, I would suggest you to pick a phone & talk to customer care executive about what exactly they want.
If they are expecting new IELTS, you can explain the situation & ask directly for what should be done. Good Luck.!
