Hi newmpnp2016

What I have learned from many candidate's experience in this forum is - if your supporter lives at Winnipeg, then you cannot claim extra 50 points. As supporting your sister in his new venture in Manitoba will be possible for you if she stays near you. So if your sister wants to claim extra 50 points , she has to claim that she will live out of Winnipeg and in that case you also have to live out of Winnipeg (you should live in the city where she will establish herself).

Am sorry If I conveyed a wrong information.
Actually my sponsor lives in winnipeg and I have the right to stay anywhre in Manitoba under my application category

Hi Cutenash

You are partially right. mpnp applicants can settle anywhere in Manitoba. We were discussing about claiming 50 points for settling outside Manitoba in EOI.

here is the link which may shed a light on our confusion.
http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/mpnp-for-skilled-workers/expression-of-interest/

please look for "Factor5: Adaptability"

it states -

"Adaptability points are calculated based on the type of connection you have to Manitoba. All candidates must have at least one type of connection to our province (Regional Development is considered a supplemental connection factor; points can only be awarded in combination with a Manitoba connection). You cannot be awarded points for more than one connection factor, you will only be scored based on your connection which gives you the highest score. Supplemental points for Regional Development cannot be awarded to candidates whose connection to Manitoba is based on Manitoba Demand. All candidates indicating that they plan to settle outside of Winnipeg MUST at the time of application satisfactorily demonstrate that they have a convincing connection to a region outside of the capital city indicating a strong likelihood that they will make a long-term economic contribution to that region."

The last sentence clearly indicates I need to prove a convincing connection to a region outside of the capital to claim that 50 points.

I am from the MPNP 14th draw. I have submitted my application and my sponsor also sent SP2 to mpnpsupporter@gov.mb.ca on 20th May, 2016. Usually, MPNP reply back to sponsor an acknowledge receipt e-mail within 12-15 days after sponsors sent the SP2 to them on the above e-mail address like the following:

Dear MPNP Supporter:

This is to acknowledge receipt of your email. Documents will be added to the file. For future correspondence, please upload the documents online. To do this, applicant needs to log into his/her online account, scan and upload the additional documents.

Sincerely,

MPNP

Today, it has been more than 20 days to sent of SP2 but, my sponsor did not receive any such mail. I do not know what is wrong. Should my sponsor should ask MPNP on the above e-mail about the addition of SP2 or what action should he take?

Regards,

Noor

Hello all,

I have some queries regarding PCC. As a Principal Applicant, I will have to include my spouse as my dependent in CIC Application. Is PCC required to be dispatched in CIC Application for both (me and my spouse, likewise MR) OR is it required only for me (the Principal Applicant, likewise IELTS result), as this specific requirement is not mentioned in Document Checklist (IMM5690E)?

Second, is the original PCC should be dispatched to CIC Application or only a photocopy of it will be enough?

I would be appreciate the reply.

Regards,

Noor

It depends on your visa office. Singapore, London, Manilla are processing in approx 6 months. Delhi, Accra, Ottawa are taking more than a year. From where you had applied?
Also please share your timeline.
