Dear Batchmates!

Here are some tips which might be helpful for you while waiting for the nomination letter and once you start the 2nd stage of your application for immigration to Canada:

1. You may start applying for Police Clearance Certificates (PCCs) from the countires where you've lived for more than 6 months. This is compulsory for the applicant, spouse and dependents above 18 years of age.

2. Pay the processing fee online using your credit card as this is the best option amongst the rest. Use the link below:

h

3. Be sure to affix your signature on all of the forms before sending them to CIC.

4. Cross-check all the forms against the CIC required documents checklist to ensure that your application package is complete.

5. Use FedEx or UPS. DHL should be your last option when sending your application package to CIC, because DHL is restricted to deliver it directly in Nova Scotia or Sydney in Canada. They have to hand over your package to Loomis Express (their partner in Canada). But if this isn't a problem for you, then you can use DHL.

Good luck and GOD bless! :D ;D ;)

Hi Znarfier,

I've been following your great timeline, i just noticed your visa office as LONDON, if I recall from your earlier posts you were from the middle east?

I wanted to ask if it were possible for those in Bahrain to apply in London as well instead of the Abu Dhabi Visa Office since I've read that their process was slow?

Hi all!

Here's one way to check the status of your CIC application.

1. Go to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

2. Click (Continue GCKey) blue tab ---- this is the one i used.

3. Sign Up

4. Select (Link the existing account)

5. Enter all required info

6. For English Test detail, use the following if you don't have the info handy:

Test: None
Test ID: 000
Test Date: CIC application received date

(for few it works but not for all)

Enjoy and good luck!

Hello LoveAboveAll,

Yes, I am residing in the Middle East. But when I received the reply to my CSE and the MR email, I was so delighted that my application was sent and assigned to London! Thanks GOD!

I heard that you can send a special request but at the same time I believe that this might cause delays as they'll review your case to see if your request is valid.

Just pray and hope for the best!

Hi znarfier,

"If your occupation is regulated in Manitoba, are you fully recognized by the provincial licensing body after undergoing all steps of having your qualifications assessed?"

Should I answer "No" ? I'm an international graduate student and working as "Engineer" for a Wireless company in Manitoba.

Thanks

Hello, I need urgent support please.

My occupation is regulated in Manitoba but i do not have licence. how should i manage?

It may refuse my application due to this regulation issue?

If somebody successfully applied under regulated occupation without licence , please let me know it may help me.

Please can anyone clarify on the paths that are involved after LOA and what determines the path that an applicant is expected to follow?

After getting the LOA, the next step is to apply to CIC using that nomination letter.
You can check these links for that:

1. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp
2. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp
3. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prov-apply-application.asp

Download all the forms and read the instructions multiple times before filling them up and sending them.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Jiogill,

Have not heard nor seen any one in a regulated occupation scaling thru without been licensed.
You will have to decline your LAA and look for a similar NOC that is non regulated and close to your job description. My2cent

@ igbehinadara i do not think you are right , there people who have applied to are they are not licensed , if you are not licensed simply identify that you are not licensed whilst feeling the LAA application

The thing is that you get more marks for signifying you are licensed . so if you are not licensed then please do not indicate so .
