MPNP Application Batch 2014

Good day!

I have a concern regarding the English proficiency requirement when applying in MPNP. Do they accept IELTS academic module results? I took the academic version because my intended occupation when I go to Canada requires this one. Is it possible that my application will be denied if I submitted my IELTS acad results? :'(

Excerpt from MPNP Official website:
Because language proficiency is the key factor for successful economic establishment, all applicants should take an IELTS test BEFORE applying. You should score at least 4, and you should submit your IELTS results with your MPNP application.
I believe you should take the general module, but I've read previously on the other batch that they submitted the academic one. However, it's just a rare case.. you can also wait for others opinion. anyway it's still your call! Good luck and God bless on your application!

IELTS Academic Module is only required for Educators, if your intended occupation is a teacher then this is required. The General Module is mostly for Skilled immigramt. Hope this helps.

Do you know where my sponsor should send the Settlement Plan part 2? It doesn't say if it should be sent via normal mail or email.

Stream: General
Self assessment points: 71
Intended occupation: manufacturing/sales and operations manager
Application date: 4 June 2014
File number received: 5 June 2014
Sp2 sent: 5 June 2014

Our sponsor had a problem with the sp2 though before sending it.. She told us that our file number won't fit in the space provided. So after answering the first page, she printed it out then wrote our file number then scanned it.
Questions:
How come file number won't fit? She included the MB in front of the numbers and it is really part of the file number right?

Will they accept that kind of sp2(first page printed and file number handwritten)?
If not, then what should we do..

Help would be greatly appreciated!

hello,to all who in this forumi am new in this forum.i am prashant patel from india and i am plaaning to apply manitoba pnp under friend support.dear friends i have one query that i am pharmacist and which is regulated in manitoba.i have results of 5.5 band in ielts not less than 5 in each module.so it is enough for my profession?my points is 73 out of 100 in manitoba self asssesment point sheet.so am i qulify for nomination from manitoba?plese reply on this matter friends so i proceeding furthur.thanks for read this mail

Hello there, I am new here and have a question regarding the IELTS, my occupation is Graphic Designer and according some pages I've seen goes under the code B on the NOC list (5241 Graphic designers and illustrators) I would like to know if IELTS is a mandatory requirement, thank you so much.

Metufer: IELTS is required by MPNP. However, once you are nominated, and will apply for PR to CIO, IELTS is not required for NOC skill levels 0, A & B. Hope that answer your question.

It might be too early to get agitated, from track record 8 - 10 months has been the thread. If you receive early call - its just been fortunate. Shallom!!!

I see, I already applied without uploading my results because i haven't written yet, does it mean i'm screwed?? I supposed to write the examen in the next month and i would like to know if I can still uploading the results in the section Add Documents, I guess I can due the fact that the process takes very long time but i'm not sure, and If i am already screwed what you suggest me to do? Me and my wife are just started trying to apply MPNP. We've been reading the threads with a lot of useful information, however, we're still confused about which one of us is better to be the principal applicant. Hope someone can give us some advices:

Me: stay in Winnipeg ~5 years, still a student in Phd program, no off-campus work experience.
My wife: came to Winnipeg more than 1 year ago, three years work experience in her professional area but not working in Winnipeg. Not very high level of English proficiency ~CLB 5-6.
Other criteria are the same for both of us.
