Yes Winnie, it really is a beautiful country. Where did you visit in the country? The Political situation is influencing the minority groups heavily though, it is not a "rainbow nation" anymore and the future does not look too bright for us (previously "advantaged" groups).

Yes Warblade, your reply does make some sense....but the whole process cant be based on this alone. If it was based only on this and not by the timeline as well, you will have a whole group not being assessed at all as new applications get submitted daily that is stronger than some submitted the previous day, week, month, year....you get the point. They have to work through ALL the applicants even if it is just to decline you, and for this they need to work according to when aplications are submitted.

On the 2013 forum I have just read that the following - meaning they are now busy with August/September 2013 apps:\

My sponsor just had his interview a while ago. Cheesy
Status is still "in process" after 6 weeks since it change on Sept 2.
The officer told him that they will send the result within a month! Hope for a positive outcome.

Hello Soeb!

When you submitted your application last July, what proof of funds did you submit? The reason i asked that question is because, an applicant is required to submit at least 6-months old bank Statement or other proof of funds.

May I ask how Long is your visitor visa?

And as per your last question, i believe it is not compulsory for you to stay in Winkler at this Point, but it will look good if you will visit Winkler and stay there too within the Duration of your visit to Manitoba.

Hi Ferrari, i m from india, i came here on student visa but international graduate category rules doesn't consider student who studied outside of manitoba as long as they show fulltime 1 yr working experience and my visa was only for 1 yr. in my case i chose frnd sponsorship and sponsor lives in winkle, MB. i havent got any inquiry yet coz i applied in July 31, the status is Received only. thank you very much for ur reply.

Hi Znarfier, i applied bank portfolio as my immigration consultant said to me. and that was not old. coz in portfolio it doent indicate how old my balance is. i applied on visitor 6 months ago. but i ll apply for extension this month. i was already student here, then on work visa n currently on visitor. i didnt left canada yet.

Hi, listen to me, it's just a hearsay and not real at all. Don't believe it. They could not make such stupid decision which is contrary with the news they announced several months ago. What you need to do is praying for the calling of the supporter interview. No more negative and pessimism.
