Status changed to "Assessment in Process" after the interview with my sponsor last night.

The officer emailed me and told me to contact her within two weeks for my interview. Will call her later. Wish me luck!

Congrats. You're under FS right? I am too, but how come i did not receive any email from MPNP that I will be interviewed as well. My sponsor was already interviewed last July 19.

Hi, LemonLuv! Yup, FS too. Based from what I've read in this forum, some cases only experience sponsor interviews, so don't worry!

They want to interview you Maybe because your profession is a Nurse..some forum mates gets interviewed because of this type of profession.

Im also an Oct applicant/FS but my sponsor have not receive any call from mpnp yet...praying hard to get his interview these coming days..

Same here even I have not received any call and status shows assessment in process,,, just pray and hope for the good news .

Hello! I am supporting an application of my cousin and I was interviewed yesterday regarding his application. ;D

Questions that were asked:

Supporter - Date that we arrived here in MB, if we resided in other provinces, if we previously supported another application, my job, how will I support the applicant's settlement, how did we become related.

Applicant - educational background, work experience, if the applicant is married or does he have kids, if the applicant plans to pursue nursing in MB.

Interview lasted for just 5 mins ;D Finally there's some movement in his application!

They applied October 15, 2013, FS. I submitted the settlement plan part 2 on October 23, 2013. Sponsor's interview July 23, 2013. Status: Assessment in Process.

I have a serious question to all senior member. I apply MPNP under family category on March 1 2014. My sponsor who is my brother in law, having his citizenship oath taking ceremony and he want us to attend too so will that be ok if I apply for visitor visa does it gonna affect my MINP application or not. Any suggestion would b appreciated.

it won't be problem for you but after getting LOA you have to be clear with cic ( in the travel form http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5562E.pdf )
