I just hope we all got our LOA/AOR/PPR as soonest possible time. TRUST HIM.....

Guys, I just want to have a clarification regarding what to inform on the changes. Before I received my LOA, I already file a retirement from my previous company. Do I have to inform MPNP? On the file i've sent to CIO, i already included my new work and my new vocational course that took. Do I have to inform them CIO everytime I've done something new?

Hello! Need some help please. We are currently preparing our documents to be sent to CIC. I would like to know which courier service is better DHL or FedEx? And in the mailing instructions by courier, we need to put the postage? As far as i know for courier we don't need postage because they have their own box/envelope right?

May I ask what sort of questions are asked to sponsors and applicants? Are these based from the settlement plan? Or do they ask personal details? My sponsor is the 1st cousin of my common law.

Example questions are as follows:

1. How did you know the applicant? How are you related with the applicant?
2. When and where did you meet? how long have you know the applicant?
3. In what ways can you support the applicant?
4. Do you think the applicant will stay in MB?
5. Are you aware that if the applicant does not successfully settle in MB, that you will be banned from sponsoring another person?

The last news I've heard was that opening a visa application center in Qatar is still on discussion stage. Right now, their transaction is limited to renewal of canadian citizen's passport and processing of transactions related to trade and commercial activities between Canada and Qatar.

You can use either of the two. I used FedEx because they are conveniently located in our office building. You do not need to put postage but I think I placed 2 self-addressed mailing labels.

Hello seniors,

I need a clarification with respect to IELTS requirement for CIC application. The English language requirement for MPNP nomination is a minimum of 4 and once one receive LOA, one must also include IELTS results in the PRV application to CIC. While my IELTS score is 6.5, I did not have minimum of 6 in all the test areas. From your experience, how does CIC treat IELTS results for PNP applicants? Is the standard different from that of FSW where one must have overall score of minimum of 6.5 and not less than 6 in any of the test areas?

Your prompt response will be appreciated because I've applied to CIC for over a month now and yet to get AOR.

Hi Friends ,

I have recently submitted my application for MPNP ( Close Friend / Family Support ) . My timeline is :-
19 May 2014 - Send Application Online
19 May 2014 - Received application Confirmation .
19 May 2014 - My Sponsor received SP 2 through E mail
03 June 2014 - SP2 Submitted by sponsor physically at Winnipeg Office .

My question is :-
My aunt is sponsoring me but we have no document that has my Grandfathers Name ( fathers and my fathers sister ) on it .My father is some 73 years old . Do they give some relief as they did not have birth certificates at that time ..... I have submitted their respective id's which mention their fathers name . Do you think its enough . Is there any other document that can be shown. I mean like passport , national id's , driving license etc . They all have fathers name on it . Is it equally good. Please help. Thanks .
